For most of central and western Suffolk County, we are a twenty-minute drive rather than an expedition, which matters more than couples expect once elderly relatives and out-of-town guests are involved.

How much does a wedding at The Grove Season cost?
Rates depend on the day of the week, the season and how long you need the room. Saturdays in peak season sit at the top; Fridays, Sundays and weekdays are meaningfully less. We send full pricing with your first reply — within one business day, before any tour, with nothing held back.
How many guests can you hold?
It depends on format. A seated dinner, a cocktail reception and a ceremony followed by a reception all fit different numbers in the same room. Send your guest count and what you have in mind, and we will tell you honestly whether it works — including if it does not.
Do we have to use your caterer?
No. We do not provide catering at all, deliberately. You bring a caterer whose food you have tasted and chosen. We share a preferred list of caterers who have worked this room, but you are never required to use them.
Is there a food and beverage minimum?
No, because we do not sell food or beverage. You are renting the room. That is unusual among Long Island wedding venues, where most quote a per-head package with a spend floor attached.
Can we serve alcohol at our wedding?
Yes — through a licensed caterer or bartending service holding its own New York State liquor license and liability insurance. New York limits one-day event permits to four per location per year, so a licensed bar service is the route that works reliably.
Do you host more than one wedding at a time?
Never. One event at a time. No shared lobby, no second reception through the wall, and no strangers in your photographs.
Can we get married here, or only hold the reception?
Both. Couples hold the ceremony at one end of the room, then we reset for the reception while guests move to cocktails. Because the installation carries the whole space, neither half needs additional styling.
How far in advance should we book?
Most couples book nine to eighteen months out, and peak-season Saturdays go furthest ahead. Shorter timelines are worth asking about — we host one wedding at a time, so our calendar moves differently than a large catering hall's. More on the full FAQ page.
