Your Show Deserves a Room People Recognize.
A podcast set that looks like nowhere else - wisteria ceiling, gold chandeliers, velvet drapery, antique frames. Book it by the hour or take a batch day and bank a season of episodes. Bring your own rig, or tell us what you need.

THe Thing Nobody Says
Every Podcast Studio Looks the Same.
Grey acoustic foam. An LED strip doing purple. A monstera in the corner. A neon sign with a word on it. You have seen this room a thousand times, because every show is shot in a version of it.
That was fine when podcasting was an audio product and nobody saw the room. It is not fine now.
The NUmbers Behind It
Your Podcast Is a Video Product Now.
This is not an aesthetic argument. Podcast growth runs through video and through clips, which means what your set looks like is a distribution question rather than a decorating one.
YouTube is now the most-used podcast platform - roughly a third of weekly US listeners, ahead of Spotify and Apple.
Of all video podcast viewing worldwide happens on YouTube.
Of audiences under 35 say they would rather watch a podcast than listen to it.
Of podcast discovery now comes from short-form clips - Shorts, Reels and TikTok.
A vertical clip has about one second to stop a thumb. A room nobody recognises does not help it.

What You're Booking
A Set, Not a Booth.
Wisteria across the ceiling, chandeliers between mirrored spheres, ivy through antique frames, velvet drapery, deep lounge seating. Installed already, included in the rate, nothing for you to build or strike.
And it changes four times a year. Record a season inside one installation and it holds together; come back next quarter and the show has a new look without you buying a single prop. For a format that lives or dies on whether episode 40 still feels fresh, that is unusually useful.
The ceiling matters more than it sounds like it should. Vertical clips crop to 9:16, and in that frame the space above your head is usually blank wall. Here it is full of something.

Straight About sound
This is Not a Treated Booth.
We would rather lose a booking than have you drive here and discover that yourself.
What helps: the room is heavily soft-furnished. Velvet drapery, upholstered seating, dense greenery and fabric throughout all absorb a great deal, and it is far kinder than the tiled, glassy rooms most people try to record in.
What doesn't: it is a large room with a high ceiling. Soft furnishing is not acoustic treatment. There is more room tone here than in a purpose-built booth, and anyone
recording with a condenser at distance will hear it.
What that means in practice: mic close and mic dynamic. An SM7B, an RE20 or a similar broadcast dynamic six inches out sounds excellent in this room. Lavs work well. A large-diaphragm condenser two feet away will pick up the space, and that is a choice rather than an accident - some shows want a little air.
Tell us your mic plan when you inquire and we will tell you honestly whether it suits the room.

Approx. 30-35 dBA with the HVAC off. Quieter than most offices, and quiet for a room this size
Rises to roughly 45 dBA. Fine close-mic'd; audible on anything at distance
Yes - off at the thermostat for takes. Expect about half an hour before the room warms noticeably
Approx. 0.6-0.9s. Far shorter than the bare shell - the drapery, upholstery and hung floral ceiling absorb a great deal - but longer than a treated booth
Route 25 is a busy road. Traffic sits under a dynamic at 6in; what to plan for is the occasional truck or siren, which costs you a take rather than a session
Broadcast dynamics & lavs. Condensers pick up the room
Moving blankets and stands on hand if you want to flag a corner tighter
Set up toward the drapery and away from the glass front. The back third of the room is the quietest and the least live

What The Room Handles Well.

Monologue, narration and course modules. One camera, one mic, a set that carries the frame on its own.

The default format. Seated across or at an angle, with real depth behind both chairs rather than a flat wall.

Roundtable and co-host shows. Room to place chairs so nobody is shot from behind and everyone has a usable sight line.

Record with people in the room.
Seating for a small audience behind camera, which changes how an episode plays entirely.
Studio Specifications
What's Here, What to Bring.
We rent the room and the set. Most shows arrive with their own kit, and that is the assumption - but tell us what you are missing and we will point you at someone local.

Yours for the booking. No shared studio floor, nobody walking through a take
Furniture, seating and power are here. Everything that records is yours to bring-

Booking
Three Steps, No Back & Forth.
You are usually booking around a client who is waiting on a date. The process is built to give you an answer the same working day.
Tell us the session type and roughly how long you need. If you are planning a mini day, say so — we will suggest the hours that work best with the light.
We confirm availability and send a quote within one business day. Repeat and seasonal bookings can be scheduled a quarter ahead.
Come see the current installation at the hour you plan to shoot. It is the only way to really know a room.
Before You Book
Ask us anything not covered here - especially about sound. We would rather answer it now than have you drive out and find out.
No, you'll need to bring your own rig — that is how most shows book. If you are missing something specific, tell us and we will point you in the right direction.
Soft-furnished and forgiving, but not an acoustically treated booth — see the sound notes above, which we have deliberately kept blunt. Mic close with a broadcast dynamic or a lav and it sounds excellent. Come do a free test recording before you commit; that is the honest way to answer this.
You can really bring as many as you need, plus of course whoever is behind the camera. Panel formats work well here because there is genuine room to place chairs rather than wedging everyone against one wall.
Yes — this is an event venue as well as a studio, so a live audience is genuinely possible rather than a squeeze. Tell us roughly how many people you would want to invite.
That is what the batch day is for, and it is how we would suggest you book. Four to six episodes in an afternoon, with time to reset between guests, works comfortably.
Yes, and if your show has a schedule this is the best way to book. Your date is protected, and you end up recording in each new installation as it goes up — so the show gets a fresh look four times a year for free.
Yes, and you should. Set a second camera vertical and cut clips from the same take. The ceiling fills the top of a 9:16 frame, which is the part of the shot most studios waste.
If you want a crew, multi-camera or a full production, that is a different conversation — see Video & Production and we will talk about a shoot day instead.
